Cast

HEIDI SCHOOLER (Anne)

At the tender age of six, Heidi would accompany her mother, an opera singer, from Long Island to Manhattan for voice lessons with her Metropolitan Opera singing coach. Heidi would sit mesmerized under the piano, eating honey candies and listening to the music. It was all so fascinating that she was hooked from then on!

Heidi began her own career as a child actress and dancer, studying in New York at The American Musical and Dramatics Academy, the American Ballet Theatre School, and at The International School of Dance at Carnegie Hall. She went on to study musical theatre at Syracuse University, and moved to Los Angeles to complete her studies in both theatre and dance at University of Southern California.

Heidi has performed in numerous theater productions in Los Angeles and New York, and continued with more film and television work upon graduation. Her own life experience has allowed her to portray a wide range of characters from the lovable comedic heroine and quirky sidekick to darker, character-driven dramatic roles requiring a depth of emotion and sensitivity.

She continued to hone her comedic and dramatic skills with workouts at The Actors Studio, studying with such teachers as Shelley Winters, Susan Peretz, and Clyde Ventura, and currently studies with Stephen Book.  Comedically, she has trained with Gary Austin, founder of the Groundlings and Robin Menken of Second City, and has worked with several comedians from the Comedy Store.

In addition to her work in theater, film and television, Heidi has established herself as a sought-after voiceover and commercial actress.

Fae Niyu (Brittany)

"I am an actress and comedian who started my pursuit in NYC, where I studied at Michael Howard Studios and worked in various theater productions. After moving to LA, I discovered a love for comedy while taking my first improv class at UCB and have since earned a piece of paper that proves my completion of the UCB program. It’s a very nice piece of paper, though I do wish it was more green in color :) Currently, I am a member of the weird and hilarious Catsby shows and Pack Theater and can be found performing on the stages of UCB, Pack Theater, The Clubhouse, Second City, Nerdist, etc.

"I am very excited to work with Glenn Thomas again on the third play he is adapting from Joseph Doughertyʼs 'Handwritten Theatre'. The first adaptation, 'I Defended You!', which I was a part of, was a blast!"

Fae Niyu is known for her work on I Defended You (2014), Misora, Misery (2016) and The Gathering.
